Our Trek to Portugal is view-able as follows

Day 1 - Touring Sintra
Day 2 - Poking around Lisbon
Day 2 - Studying carriages in the Lisbon Carriage Museum
Day 3 - Creativity runs rampant as the Bears do tiles
Day 3 - Creatively exhausted we head for the beach
Day 4 - Saw us exploring the Fatima Shrine and the Batalha Monastery
Day 5 - Took us to Mafra where we checked out the Palace and Convent church, followed by lunch and a walk through Obidos
Day 6 - On our last day in Sintra we poked around town again and enjoyed our "graduation" dinner

Prior to joining the California Bears for the week in Sintra, Ruth and I spent a couple of days checking out Bilbao, Spain. Specifically, we spent one day visiting the Guggenheim Museum and another walking around Old Town Bilbao. We then spent a couple of days in Lisbon where we inspected tiles and gardening techniques at the Fonteira Palace, paid a brief visit to the Gulbenkian Museum and a lengthy one to the Oceanarium.
