Contents and background:

We arrived in Philadelphia on May 25, 2007, fairly late in the evening and started our explorations the following morning. We didn't really over-exert ourselves, so we only have a single file for Day One
Our report for the second day consists of two files one for the morning, and one for the rest of the day.
On our third day we got really, really busy. First we stopped at Zagar's Garden, after which we visited the Mercer Museum, which was followed by the Fonthill Museum, concluding with a quick look at where Washington crossed the Delaware.
Day Four was equally busy -- Winterthur, followed by the Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine River Museum.
Day Five was our day off, so we poked around on owr own starting at Penn's Landing.
Day Six entailed visiting Franklin Court, the Franklin Institute Museum and the King Tut exhibit, while Day Seven took us to the Barnes Gallery, the Museum of Art, the Rodin Museum and the Eastern State Penitentiary. We ended the day at Bookbinder's for dinner.
The following day we spent relocating from Philadelphia to Harrisburg. The day after saw us visiting Hershey, where we spent the morning poking around in the Rose Garden and in the afternoon we found shelter from the rain at the Hershey Chocolate Factory.
The weather treated us more kindly the next days when we explored Gettysburg.
